CHALMETTE, La. - St. Bernard Parish deputies have arrested a man on six
counts of looting vehicles during Hurricane Isaac, according to Sheriff
James Pohlmann.
Pohlmann said Daryl Robin, 28, is being held in St. Bernard Parish Prison on
the six looting counts, one count of possession of a firearm by a felon and
as a probation violator.
Robin admitted during questioning to committing the burglaries on Aug. 31 in
the Jumonville South subdivision, Pohlmann said. He also told deputies that
he was on prescription drugs at the time of the break-ins.
Fingerprints led deputies to Robin.
Robin has a lengthy criminal history, with more than 50 felony arrests. He
was on probation.
No bond was set in the case.
