St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department to host a Homecoming Festival

The St. Bernard Parish Recreation Department will host a Homecoming Festival
October 26-28, 2012.  The weekend of events will include a festival at
Hannan Complex, a parade and football games at Chalmette High School.  The
schedule for the weekend is as follows:

 

Friday, October 26, 2012

6:00pm-11:00pm:  Homecoming Festival @ Hannan Complex

There will be inflatables for the kids, food and family fun!  Individuals
interested in setting up art & craft booths can contact Rachel Turnage at
278-4295 email rturnage at sbpg.net.  Booth spaces are available for $30.00.
You will be responsible for your tent and tables/chairs.   

*	6:30pm-8:00pm:  

	*	All football, cheerleading, and volleyball teams will be
announced. 
	*	Homecoming Court will be recognized

*	8:00pm-11:00pm: 

	*	Hit and Run will perform

Saturday, October 27, 2012

There will be a homecoming parade at 8:30 a.m.  The parade will begin at the
corner of E. Judge Perez Drive and Despaux Drive and end at Chalmette High
school Lacoste Campus.   Football games will begin at Chalmette High School
at 10:00 a.m. and Volleyball games will begin at Gauthier Gym at 12:00 Noon.
