[StBernard] Humana Health Inurance Denied for St. Bernard Parish

I'm not sure exactly how Humana has denied parish residents from getting one
of their plans.

I went to this website and put in a zip of 70043 and it returned plans for
both the medicare advantage (HMO) programs plus the medicare supplement
(medigap) programs so the plans are available for parish residents.  Perhaps
it would be more accurate to say that the parish hospital won't take the
humana plans.  That sounds like an issue with the hospital moreso than
anything with Humana.

Of course it's not helpful that the hospital website doesn't say which plans
they do or don't work with.  That's an important item these days when so
many plans have specific PPO organizations and hospitals they work with.

	Humana has denied St Bernard  Parish residents from being able to
have the
	Medicare HMO policy for 2013. They state we don't have enough
doctors here.
	
	Our local hospital will not recognize any Humana insurance after the
1st.
	The reason is probably that our hospital will not accept the terms
for the
	discounts for services.
