The St. Bernard Parish Library in Chalmette will host a Porta-Puppet Players
show, "If the Shoe Fits" Feb. 22 at 10:30 a.m. as part of National Tell a
Fairy Tale Day. Porta-Puppet Players will present the show.

This "not so classical" telling of Charles Perrault's timeless tale will be
told by Cinderella herself with a little help from one of her former mouse
valets and enthusiastic audience members. The free hour-long program is part
of the library's continuing Saturday Morning Family Fun Program.

Funding for the program is being provided by a grant from the Louisiana
Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture,
Recreation and Tourism in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council
as administered by the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs.

For more information, stop by the library at 2600 Palmisano Blvd. in
Chalmette or call the library at 504-279-0448.
