Summer Enrollment and New Session Options at Nunez Community College


 

Enrollment for this year's summer session is underway at Nunez Community
College, and while summer sessions are not novel, Nunez is offering students
new enrollment options:

            This year, in addition to its traditional summer semester, which
runs from June 3-July 30, the College is introducing two mini- or, "Fast
Lane" sessions. The first mini-session runs June 3-27, with classes from a
number of concentrations including Business, Sciences, and Liberal Arts. The
second mini-session will feature business classes, and will be held July
8-31. Fall 2013 will also feature Fast Lane sessions from August 26-October
11 and October 15-December 1, 2013. 

Dean of Academic Affairs, Tonia Loria, says, "These unique sessions provide
excellent opportunities for students to spend an intense, but shorter time
in courses while earning credit, which is especially helpful for students
who want to fulfill a prerequisite requirement in the first half of a
semester and take the next course in the series in the next Fast Lane
session."

Students can register electronically at www.nunez.edu, and returning
students can cRegistration dates are Tuesday to Thursday, January 8th-10th,
9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, January 11th, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Saturday,
January 12th, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
