Knights of Nemesis will present royalty at luau July 27 in Chalmette

The Knights of Nemesis will hold its ninth annual Jack Bennett Memorial luau
dance July 27 from 8 p.m. to midnight at the St. Bernard Cultural Center in
Chalmette.

The dance is open to the public, and residents are invited to attend and
help celebrate the ninth anniversary of the club. The announcement and
introduction of the club's Royal Knight IX and Goddess Nemesis IX for the
2014 parade will be a highlight of the dance.

Tickets are $20 per person and include beer, wine, setups, door prizes and
DJ music provided by Sounds by Mark.

A limbo and costume contest also will be held. Dress is casual and luau
