An autopsy of a Violet area man found early Friday morning behind a former
church showed no signs of trauma, and foul play is not suspected, St.
Bernard Parish Sheriff Jimmy Pohlmann said Friday afternoon.

Tagh Moore, 33, was found in Violet on Friday about 3 a.m. in a grassy area
behind the former Our Lady of Lourdes Church in the 6300 block of East St.
Bernard Highway, off First Street.

Officers responded after they received reports that one or more people had
dumped a body in bushes near the Violet Canal, according to the Sheriff's
Office.

Toxicology tests, which might indicate more about the possible cause of
death, were conducted but the results were not yet available on Friday,
Pohlmann said.

Sheriff's detectives on Friday were following up on leads to try to
determine who dropped the body, Pohlmann said. He said investigators had
searched an abandoned house in the areas where Moore allegedly had stayed on
Thursday evening.
