Early advising for the spring 2014 semester at Nunez Community College in
Chalmette will be held Nov. 1-15, by appointment only. Vice Chancellor of
Academic and Student Affairs Annette Accomando strongly encourages students
to reach out to their advising faculty during this early advising period to
make sure they are selecting the best classes in order to satisfy their
program requirements and wisely utilize financial aid.

Students have been sent emails and postcards with their specific advisors'
names and contact information according to their college majors. Students
can set phone, email, or in-person appointments.

New students should plan to see advisors on campus, beginning Nov. 18 when
early registration starts and placement testing and advisors will be
available for walk-in service.

Early registration be held Nov. 18-22, and the spring 2014 semester starts
Jan. 21. For information, contact advisinghelp at nunez.edu or 504.278.6467.
