St. Bernard Parish to host a Veterans Ceremony on November 8th

Veterans will be treated to breakfast by President Peralta

 

St. Bernard Parish Government will hold its annual Veterans' Day Ceremony on
Friday, November 8th at 9:00 a.m. near the Veterans Monument in front of the
Fred Sigur Civic Center in Chalmette.

 

Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Copple, the Deputy Post Commander at Jackson
Barracks, will deliver brief remarks at the event, which will also feature
an appearance by the Chalmette High School Color Guard.  

 

At the conclusion of the event, Parish President David Peralta will sponsor
a breakfast for parish veterans at Rocky & Carlo's Sicilian Room at 10:00
a.m.  

 

Transportation from the veterans' event to the breakfast will be provided by
the Gulf Coast Bank & Trust trolley.
