One of my neighbors didn't cut his back yard in forever. We had snakes, mice
& 0possums ! I know I am late, but I hope they didn't pass this !

FYI - Councilman Casey Hunnicutt is introducing a change to the grass
ordinance at tonight's meeting. It will allow property owners to only be
required to cut the first 20 feet instead of the current 150 feet. If you
don't like having high grass on properties in your neighborhood, please call
your councilmen to vote against it.

EXHIBIT "A" SUMMARY NO. 3005 Chapter 11; Health and Sanitation Section 11 -
1; Required Grass Cutting Sec. 11-1. Required grass cutting. It shall be
unlawful for any person or proprietary party to maintain, permit, or allow
on any premises, within one hundred fifty (150) - (change to twenty (20)
feet) of an existing building or within one hundred fifty (150) - (change to
twenty (20)
feet) of a public right-of-way the growth of grass or weeds to exceed a
height of eight (8) inches or more, or to permit or allow on the premises
the growth of any other deleterious or unhealthful vegetation on
residential, commercial and industrial zones only.
