There are a lot of local businesses in St. Bernard that looking to compete,
and if you drive through the parish, you may notice banners at the shops in
St. Bernard, which are all part of their holiday shopping campaign.

The best part is the deals aren't just limited to just one day of the year,
businesses are offering savings on holiday gifts, all month long.

Local Flair is just one of those local shops with personalized boutique
shopping experiences but without the boutique prices. Not only do they offer
a wide variety of items, they support local artists by offering locally made
items that are unique and special to St. Bernard, such as photos of the
Lebeau Plantation taken before it burnt to the ground last week.

restaurant owner explains that the retailers and the restaurants are
encouraged to give gift certificates away, do their own special drawings and
door prizes and the Tabloid itself has a coupon from each participating
