[StBernard] St. Bernard Parish State of Emergency

PARISH PRESIDENT DAVE PERALTA DECLARES STATE OF EMERGENCY

 

Due to the anticipated extreme weather conditions predicted for St. Bernard
Parish, President David Peralta at 2:25 PM today declared a state of
emergency for all of St. Bernard Parish.  This emergency is expected to last
through Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.  While Government offices will
be closed, essential personnel will remain on duty 24 hours per day.  Office
of Emergency Preparedness is currently operating and will remain open 24
hours per day until further notice.
