[StBernard] St. Bernard Council approves $3 million more for hospital after heated debate

Am I the only one who is beginning to connect that dots here in that it was
all part of Landry's master plan to get the hospital out of its third party
managerial contract and place himself as its director? It sure as hell
looks like that.

Also, in regards to the ten or so employees who said they feared losing
their jobs if a third party management firm came in to run the hospital:
didn't they start out with jobs under a third party management group running
the hospital? So if they obtained employment under a third party, what
makes them think they would suddenly lose their job if another third party
group came in? Utter nonsense. Besides, I didn't realize the purpose of
building the hospital was to provide a job for everyone and their
brother-in-law and cousin. I thought it was to provide a medical facility
for the parish. But by all means let's recreate the police juror with our
new hospital.

If another third party management team is acquired and they determine some
positions are not needed, then I'd say they are doing their job to keep the
hospital as efficient as possible - something that is obviously not taking
place now.

Vote NO on the tax millage in April.
