The Entrepreneurship Center at Nunez Community College in Chalmettewill host
a networking event and roundtable discussion featuring some of the Greater
New Orleans' entrepreneurs on March 20.

St Bernard Chamber of Commerce President Stephen Reuther will serve as
moderator for the panel, which includes Todd McDonald, banking expert and
founder of GoToInterview.com; Eric Schmidt, web designer and entrepreneur;
Tung Ly from the Vietnamese American Young Leadership Association; James
Moffett, attorney and entrepreneur; and, Monica Hernandez, WWL-TV reporter.

Assistant Director of the Entrepreneurship Center, Ed Shedlock, said "This
is a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about business, create
online profiles, promote their own ideas, and build a professional network
of successful entrepreneurs. Interacting one-on-one with those that have
taken their concepts and turned them into businesses allows students to
learn from those who have done it themselves."

The workshop starts at 6 p.m. in the Entrepreneurship Center and is free to
students and the public through grant funding from the U.S. Department of
Labor's Trade Adjustment Assistance Community Colleges and Career Training
(TAACCCT) initiative. Those interested in attending may register by calling
504-278-6295.
