MERAUX, LA (WVUE) -- St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Detectives are trying to
identify a man who committed an obscenity on a parish public bus. The
incident occurred March 20 around 6:15 a.m.

Police say the man boarded the bus at St. Claude Avenue at Mehle Avenue in
Arabi. The man, who was the lone passenger on the bus, sat directly behind
the female driver and began asking her inappropriate questions. Later on,
when the man got off the bus, the driver notified her supervisor of the
incident. The supervisor checked the video and audio system on the bus prior
to notifying the Sheriff's Department. The video showed the man committing
an obscenity while talking to the driver.

The suspect is described as an African-American man with facial hair and a
tattoo on his forearm. He was wearing a white ball hat, a white t-shirt and
cargo shorts.

If you have any information that could help identify the man, you are asked
to call the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Department at 504-271-2501.
