Nunez Community College in Chalmette sets early registration for summer and
fall classes

Nunez Community College in Chalmette will hold early registration for the
summer and fall semesters April 14-16. This summer, students will be able to
attend classes during the regular summer session from June 2through July 31;
or during one of two mini-sessions from June 2 through 27 or from July 7
through 31.

Those interested in applying for the practical nursing program must submit
complete applications by April 15.

Nunez is also offering electrical courses with built-in certifications from
the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Each
electrical class is offered from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Electrical 1 - April 3
through June 10 and Electrical 2 - April 30 through July 11 or June 11
through July 31.

Registration will be held on the first floor of the Arts, Sciences, and
Technology Building from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Returning students who were not
enrolled during the previous spring or fall semesters and new students must
also apply at on the website. 

Students seeking financial aid must complete and submit a 2013-2014 Federal
Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) form using the Nunez school
