"Pathway to Homeownership Program"

 

PROGRAM ASSISTANCE LIMITS INCREASE

 

A Soft-Second Mortgage Program, offered to qualified Homebuyers

For the purchase a new or existing home (1 and 2 Unit Dwellings),

Located in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana.

 

NOW receive CDBG Assistance, given in the following order:

A Soft Second Loan of 25% of the Purchase Price up to $40,000 and 

up to $5,000 for Closing Costs - on a need basis -

For a Total of up to $45,000 - with 0% Interest Rate and No Monthly
Payments.

 

Homeowner must qualify for a 30 year fixed-rate mortgage and must close and
reside in the property within 12 months of loan approval and continue to
reside in the purchased 

property for a minimum of five (5) years,
