40 Arpent Brewing Company holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

40 Arpent Brewing Company held a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April
25, 2014 at 6809 N. Peters Street in Arabi. The Owners, Mike Naquin, Carl
Doescher and Emily Chopin were joined by Parish President David Peralta,
State Representative Ray Garofalo, Councilmembers Ray Lauga, Nathan Gorbaty
and Casey Hunnicutt, St. Bernard Chamber of Commerce Chairman Fred Sigur,
Chamber Executive Director Stephen Reuther and other Chamber members.

40 Arpent is a production brewery which offers tastings to the public every
Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Arpent is a unit of linear measure equivalent
to about 190 feet (58m), used in New France. The brewery currently offers
two brands, Delacroix beer and 40 Arpent Milk Stout, with plans to introduce
a new beer called Red Bean and Rice Ale in the future. For more information
