The last suspect wanted in the armed robbery of a payday loan company in
Arabi has been arrested, the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office announced.
Kevon Smith, 29, was arrested Friday (June 13) in Marrero by the U.S.
Marshal Service's Fugitive Task Force, Sheriff Jimmy Pohlmann said.

Also in custody are Rodrick Natteel, 36; Kendrick Wells, 36; and Mario O.
Westbrook, 37. All are from New Orleans.

The robbery occurred May 31 around 10 a.m. in the 7500 block of West Judge
Perez Drive. The four are accused of entering Cash Cow business, brandishing
guns and demanding money. Pohlmann said they also robbed several customers.

Authorities say Smith has a criminal record, which includes arrests for
carjacking and kidnapping. He is expected to be transferred to St. Bernard
Parish Prison from Jefferson Parish.
