ST. BERNARD PARISH OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY MONITORING THE EBOLA OUTBREAK

 

As the EBOLA outbreak continues, St. Bernard Parish Office of Homeland
Security and Emergency Preparedness officials are working closely with State
and Local partners to ensure that all necessary procedures are in place to
handle any incidents that might arise.  Conference calls, meetings and
workshops are being conducted to validate local plans and protocols.
Communication is ongoing with local first responders to provide the latest
information pertaining to the handling of these cases.

 

Refresher training on operating procedures and protocols is being provided
to entities and professionals designated as first responders in any possible
