You are right about the threat of gloom and doom. Has anyone forgotten just a few years ago when all that flood protection work was completed we were told that we were safe and better off than before Katrina? I remember. They also built that structure out in the MRGO that cuts down the surge from a storm. That further helps protect us. So what is left to be done? Sounds like someone is afraid they might be losing their cushy jobs if the tax is not approved. I'm tired of paying taxes so someone's brother in law or family member can have a job. Vote NO!
