Bonjour to all! For once I have a site update that isn't late at night! I've just posted three new pipes, one Goblin and two new Talberts. The Talberts are a green briar freehand and a bamboo-shanked morta - Check them out here:

The new Goblin is another Claw shape, this time in smooth:

This is tax month, so the site has been pretty quiet otherwise. I hope I'll get in one more update before the end of the month, but time will tell - With Emily out of the workshop and busy with our taxes (This year she has a new thing to contend with - How to handle large volume charitable donations, after last year's Japan aid fundraiser), production is slower and I'm focusing mainly on making a few higher grade pieces rather than a bunch of Ligne Bretagnes, since it makes shipping much easier on her (Less time to pack and ship 3 Talberts than 9-12 Ligne Bretagnes).

Also, if anyone is interested in "Making of" stuff, the last post in the Pipe Blog showcases the drilling of the green Talbert in a photo essay that discusses the alternative drilling techniques used after the bowl shaping was done.

In other news, I've recently been expanding my online presence into a couple of new social networks, Chime. In and Pinterest. However, I am *not* yet doing any pipe posts in either - Thus far, all I've been sharing in each is Kentucky Fried Popcorn stuff. Unlike with Facebook and G+, I don't see a big pipe community in either (at least not yet) so for the time being I am using them primarily for recreation. Chime. In I like, but my opinion of Pinterest is still up for grabs... I'm not sure it will offer me the sort of interaction I enjoy. Time will tell. In any event, if anyone is interested in following my account updates in these odd places, here are my profiles in each:

The Pinterest account is still pretty empty as I've just created it. Chime is quite busy, though, and I think I'm going to enjoy its interest-focused style of conversation. Instead of a wall of updates from people I knew in high school posting about what their cat just did, I have a wall of posts about horror movies and other interests I enjoy - It's a refreshing change of pace from other social networks.
That's all for now, thanks for your time!
Happy Smoking,
Trever Talbert
