I have a dremel with the flexshaft. Of course it is only rotary but I do have a few bits for it that I use when I want to remove a lot of wood or run into some wood that is very hard. Some of those bits  that foredom makes in the 1/8 and 3/32 do a nice job of forming some of the stuff i do and I use the sanding disc for it religiously
