The sheet trick is a good method, too.   Sometimes I feel like sitting on the 
floor, and I'll sit in the middle of a spread-out double sheet with my legs 
out in front of me.   My legs are then "elevated" and I can make a big mess.   
Of course, I can only do this when someone is around, because I can't get back 
up off the floor by myself :-)
