[Woodcarver] What is relief carving?

AND, Finally....
There is that one type of woodcarving relief that we all know about, but 
never talk about - the relief of finally completing that overly-ambitious relief 
project.  It is usually very high-relief!  Now, to my knowledge, that covers 
all the various reliefs connected with woodcarving.  

Certainly do enjoy and appreciate all the comments on this board.
