Wow is right Joe .... The response to Marnie's cause is overwhelming.
We've received a woodburning of two wolves from Tom Williams, plus two
birds from George Wickham (the creator of Wings Gate patterns). ALSO
received an email from Sue Walters of Australia this morning ~ she is
doing a burning for Marnie's Auction at our September Carver's
Conference!

 That nice mail lady came by today with a package from Millry Alabama. I
couldn't wait to get it opened. Rev. O. Michael Wilcox had framed in oak
this beautiful relief carving of the Blessed Mother with the Baby Jesus.
The three color stain finish is perfect. The design is elegant following
a simple motif in the folds of the clothing. This will be a prize wall
hanging for sure after it is fought over and won in Marnie's auction.
