Titebond is about as good as you can get, but any good wood glue will work. Leather is very easy to work with and likes adhesives. Put a board on bother sides and keep it under pressure for a day and let it "breath" for another day before altering it or working it. Make sure the leather is in your house a day or two before attaching. If it overly humid, it can get surface splits just like wood from drying.
Good luck,

Hello Everyone,
What is the best glue for gluing a piece of leather to wood for making a strop? Thank you very much, in advance, for any and all answers.
The list has been rather slow lately, but the pictures that have been added to albums and websites have been outstanding. Incredible talent on this list--gives a rank amateur something to shoot for. Thanks!!1
