Hi Robert,

Pete LeClair has a club that meets every Tuesday in
Fitchburg MA, an easy drive over Rt 2 from the Boston
area. They meet at a Tech school, Montechussett Tech,
and it's not hard to find.

This group concentrates on carving caricatures
(Central Mass, Caricature Carvers) and they are a fun
bunch. One or two regularly come down from NH, some
others come from Eastern Mass.

When he has time, Pete loves to sit with a new carver
and get him started. When Pete is tied up, there are
numerous other carvers in that group that are always
willing to help out.

Pete is in PA teaching a seminar this weekend, but I
think he'll be home Monday. You could try his email
and ask about his club, or you could even call him at
home.
