    DESCRIPTION      
Scottsdale Art Factory is a High-end, World Class,  Artistic Manufacturer of 
Furniture, Doors, Lighting and Hardware. We  are in our ninth decade of 
manufacturing these products and have currently  built a new state-of-the-art plant 
in Scottsdale, AZ, to accommodate our  growing volume of orders. This is a 
rare opportunity because we have very  little personal turn over. We are looking 
for persons who are interested  in relocating to Phoenix, AZ as well as locals 
to begin a new career as an  apprentice for one of the following skilled 
artisan manufacturing  positions: Or office support help 


• Old Traditional,  Blacksmithing - where you will learn the art of the forge 
from expert  blacksmiths. However, this position begins at shop labor/helper  
level.

• Woodworking - making handmade investment quality  furniture, Cabinets, 
Doors, Gates, etc… However, this position begins at  sanding and shaping level.

• Experienced Carvers - This  position can begin at top level pay depending 
upon your specific ability  to produce.
Apprentice wood carvers pay scale depends upon ability to  learn.

Our Design Department is Hiring Experienced CAD  Draftsman to draw working 
designs of these products.  

Note: The drafting positions start at beginner level,  however you must have 
a working knowledge of CAD. Also you must be willing  to learn our special 
processes, our way. This job is also an earn while  you learn position and begins 
at entry level pay, no matter your prior  experience.

Earn While You Learn Program is designed  especially for hardworking 
dependable persons that feel they are stuck in  a dead end job that’s going nowhere. 
This is a shared cost program  allowing you to invest in your self education 
while we pay you a wage and  invest our time in your training. This program is 
also designed to allow a  person with no skills become skilled. These positions 
will allow for top  pay rates depending upon ability to learn, with many 
benefits including  management positions. This is one place you can start out as 
an unskilled  laborer and advance to managing an entire department over time, 
depending  upon a willingness to apply one’s self. Note: These are beginner  
positions, regardless of your past history and experience, everyone starts  out 
in the lowest paid position and works their way up through the "earn  while 
you learn" program.
This means no matter what your education,  background, or past ability, you 
start out in the least desirable, most  labor intensive position to test your 
willingness to start at the bottom  of each department. and endure and 
experience what the lowest paid  person goes through, so if you become management or 
any level in between  you would have an appreciation and respect for each and 
every position,  etc. and also the ability to perform each task yourself with 
confidence.

    DESCRIPTION      CARVER,  HAND - STAMFORD, CT Carver, by hand, wooden 
flooring, staircases and  doors. Study sketches and dimensions of ornamental 
designs. Work  according to sketches and blueprints provided by interior decorator 
 or customer. Transfer designs to wood by tracing over drawing and  carbon 
paper with stylus. Draw own design to scale. 2yrs exp. req.,  40 hrs / wk, M-F,
