[Woodcarver] Machine-carved duplicates

Just for clarification: I sold them, put it together, learned how to use it- but I have never made anything with it, nor do I own one. Heck I don't even like to use power to carve by hand- but I do when I gotta.

I have a duplicator similar to the Dupli-Carver. A while back
Woodcraft sold these for a very short time and I ended up paying
something like $300 for it. I do carve a lot of Santas and sell to
a number of galleries. Like Donna, I rough out to 1/4" or more
so I am able to use the same roughout for several different Santa styles
and no two are identical. Getting rid of the excess wood quickly saves me
a lot of time in caving these guys.

Bill- I used to sell the Dupli-Carver and it would do a great job on
relief carvings like your great wild series. I'd use it to rough out to
within 1/4" or so, and then finish with gouges. That would save a
lot of time and effort and each one would be different from the other.
