[Woodcarver] The List

I just wanted to comment about the list and questions about "rejuvenating" it. I think the list is great - not because of the amount of activity on it, but because it is monitored and contributed to by some very accomplished and helpful carvers who have the knowledge and experience to help others and the heart to share their wisdom. Although I am not a very active carver, I monitor the list consistently. I learn from it and occasionally I make a post if I think what I say might be helpful or if I need advice or guidance. If I am busy with a carving project I am more likely to be active than when I am not. However, whether or not there is any dialogue on the list is not too significant too me. What IS important to me is that knowledgeable and experienced carvers that make this list so valuable continue to monitor it and that I feel that I can get good advice if help is needed. If I were to suggest something to make the list better, I would suggest doing whatever those who have the knowledge and experience to help others would like to see done with the list to make them happy with their participation on it. I do not know what this might be but hope they will share their thoughts about it.
