Granted they don't look much different when viewed at the same size but
when viewed at original size the larger one is by far more informative and
shows the details.

[Woodcarver] Web Page Photo Size?






There's been some discussion about web picture size. This one case where
the bigger is better syndrome doesn't hold true. Most web pictures are
around the 100K in size. There's several reason for this. One is the
storage size for the same picture at 1Meg is 10x that of a 100K. So it's
a waste of storage space. The other is the download speed. 10x times as
long..

Now for the demo. I created a demo web page at
