Research Survey on Carving Woods (Please fax or email your answers to
me. Info below.)
Dear Carver,
I need your help. I am doing research for an article on the types of
woods carvers of various styles and techniques prefer and why. This
article is intended to help beginning carvers determine which woods to
try and what to look for in the woods they buy. We hope information
in the article would also be helpful for intermediate carvers who may
want to expand their own wood choices. To help you share your own
experiences, we've developed the following survey. Please let the
questions suggest but not limit the information you can share with us.
I will publish the results. I will include a few photos. If you have a
good photo of your work, that you would like published, please include
it. The Editor and staff of Carving Magazine may choose your photo.
Thank you for helping me with my research.
Filling out this survey implies consent to publish this information
for the Ask Joe feature in Carving Magazine. Please print or type.
