Hi Phylis,
Sharpen the V at the bottom like a small gouge following the same curve as the radius in the inside. The straight wings are sharpened like straight chisels blended into the small gouge on the bottom.

trying to sharpen my larger flexcut v-tools...can get the sides sharp but not the point...noticed that some of the larger v's have a flat at the underside of the v and the smaller ones don't...although I am sure this topic has been discussed before I don't remember it or any links to info...also can't remember what I did before (is this a sign of age?)...what do I do to get the cutting point sharp?
