The UPS guy dropped off 2 boxes from Tom Clarke and Jim O Dea.
Tom ordered 9 great carving books and had Big Dog ship them directly to me. I helped pick them out covering a wide range of topics from relief carving. animals, architectural and more. These will be great resources for them to continue there woodcarving journey.
Jim O Dea, Thanks for the great Cummins power carver. I sharpened up the V-tool put it in the tool and it works great. It's variable speed with plenty of power to carve. We are not sure if the disabled vet that only has use of one arm is going to take the class but I can assure him that this tool will do the job for him. I will be there any time he wants to give it a go.
Thanks for all your donations. Monday I will be shipping 35 chisels, 17 knives, a power carver, sharpening equipment, 5 mallets, safety glove and thumbguard and a great selection of books. I also have the butternut frames, the purple heart wood for the eagle on the emblem and I just finishing up the Marine emblem carving with step by step instructions. There is more stuff being shipped directly to them. I never imagined that everything they need would be donated. You carvers are awesome.
