You may have been confused when I said my beginning dimension was 62" long.? More than two inches of the length was wasted during the carving process of the nose and the tail.

Amazing work, Maura.? I wasn't familiar with the sacred cod of Massachusetts so I looked it up on the web, and it turns out that the one you carved is longer than the one that currently hangs in the state house of representatives!? What a feat!? The fish looks amazing.? That would be a lifetime achievement for me instead of a long line of creations that you've done.? You should be very proud!
