Hello Joseph,

 

My guess would be that Marcia, aka Mush, is offering an opportunity for
carvers to get together to share thoughts and ideas about the art we all
love.

 

She is also supplying a forum where carving friends can just chit-chat about
other things without clogging up this list with non-carving related
subjects.

 

The repeat postings are to enable any new visitors to this list an
opportunity to take part in their activities.  Someday when I get all caught
up with everything else, I plan on joining them for some spirited
discussions.
