The Senate of Virginia has before it SB 213, a "Bill to establish the O. Winston Link Trail"..."a heritage trail of sites photographed by [OWL] to highlight and celebrate Virginia's railroad heritage...."

The bill goes on to name all of the famous sites in Virginia where OWL worked his magic, many of which were, and may still be private homes or businesses. The bill even lists locations such as "Silent Night at Seven Mile Ford, Virginia" ... "the Fishing Hole at Lithia, Virginia"... and "the Sign at Solitude, Virginia"

It appears the bill originally included a number of sites located in West Virginia, but they were deleted by amendment. Kinda hard for Virginia to establish a heritage trail in West Virginia!

I'll try to monitor the progress of the Bill through the General Assembly session.
