Or a coal bucket for the range in the galley?

I don't think that little thing would hold an overnight supply of honey! Perhaps a grease bucket for the galley?

Anyone recognize this pail? It is stainless steel, about 16-inches tall, 8 1/4 -inches dia at bottom. The back is formed into a square so as to fit, perhaps, into a corner.
The top rear is stamped "N&W CAR 200".
