I agree with you. After doing some studying, I think its near the old East End Granite siding just west of Pulaski before you get to Peak Creek Tunnel. There's a steel trestle underpass there.
The trestles Frank mentioned are just outside Glade Spring, but they are two port tunnels, and not steel trestles. Good guess, though!

closed as noted by the linkage, so he's drifting downhill. #88 spent his

#95 spent his daylight hours early AM, so the sun would also be on the other
side. Could be #51 someplace between Pulaski and Wytheville, but beyond
that I can't help you. And, of course, the 2177 was a Roanoke Terminal
engine . . .
