Quicker Trip to Bristol

The new Interstate railroad recently built between Appalachia and Norton, VA., has put on passenger train service between Appalachia and Norton, which will allow passengers from Bristol to leave the border city at 8:20 a. m. over the Virginia and Southwestern railway and reach Norton at 2:36 p. m., St. Paul 3:48 p. m., Cleveland 4:34 p. m., Tazewell 6:32 p. m. and Bluefield at 7:40 p. m.
Passengers may leave Bluefield at 8:35 a. m., Tazewell 9:27 a. m., Cleveland 11:32 a. m., St. Paul 12:08 noon, and Norton at 1:40 p. m., and reach Bristol over the Virginia and Southern railway at 6:10 p. m.
[Some time numerals were blurred so the best interpretation is shown. The portion of this route between Bristol and Moccasin Gap was abandoned by the Southern Railway some years ago.]
