Ironton OH and 611 crossing grade accident pics

These pictures are from a Reddit train forum, and were posted in a 611
facebook group today with the following info.
*611 struck the rear end of a semi truck at a crossing near Ironton, Ohio
on June 24, 1953.*

This shot appears to be taken at Portsmouth coaling station. (see photo at
very bottom of this message, with one of the original J's posed in the same
orientation as is 611 here)

I believe the wrecked 611 photo was taken from the opposite POV of this
photo below, with the cameraman position exactly opposite of this photo,
The water tower would be to our right in this image, and the steel pulley
brackets at extreme right seem to match the 611 photo at top.
