Decals for HL Hopper Models

 Matt: Check out "K4Pacific" on ebay or go to K4SUPPLY.COM. They have a set of the 17" letters which will do 6 cars for about a buck each. It is set K4-NWH9-87-01. The numbers supplied are correct for H9's rather than HL's, but hey! It's still a nice decal. They also have a set for covered hoppers: (24" letters) K4-NWCH-87-01.

The Society has SKU 135.10 which for the moment, are not on our Commissary site, but those are the Model Railroad Services decals for the 17 inch lettering that fits the HL hoppers.
As the HL’s were rebuilt to H9s, they received modifications and generally speaking the 24 inch lettering, which is SKU 135.11
Hopefully, both will appear on the website soon.

On a slight tangent, I have some unlettered Stewart kits of this car that I'll need locate decals for at some point. The mailing list archive suggests Westerfield for those.  Let me know if there is a better source.

The sets will look like the image attached. How many car sets you can make is kind of hard to predict. They are in the works, I’ve not heard back yet from the printer about when they are ready to ship, but will keep the list appraised. This is small image, basically to give you the idea of what is in the set.
The HL cars were built in a variety of number schemes:

The decals for the first three cars haven't yet arrived, so I don't know if I'll need another set. The commissary describes them thusly: "we will have an exclusive set of decals with correct numbers <snip>, which will readily do your three cars and more!"
How many more? 

I'm waiting for my local hobby shop to receive their numbered cars so I can spread my money around a bit.
