Ho scale 611 in the 1950s

I’ve got a MTH model do 

Hi David Baker,

I’ve got a MTH model of 611 however it’s got The Sprint Of Roanoke decal on it. Do you think I could just have that decal removed and have the same thing as the in service version or would I need to do more to it to make it look like the in service model? Thank you for your info.
