Ho scale 611 in the 1950s

It is up to you.  If there is a dual headlight in the front (e.g., if it
looks like there are two headlights inside the light) then I would just
leave it alone.  That is the biggest give away or difference I ever
noticed. The in-service version had only one headlight inside the lens.
