[DesignII] Version 15.12 of DESIGN II for Windows

This email is to notify you that version 15.12 of DESIGN II for Windows 
is now available on our website at
    www.winsim.com/download.html .

The new features and fixes are:
1. Added Unicode support for flowsheet file names (*.psd, *.xls) and 
directory names.
2. Added the new keywords for Plate-Fin Exchanger to the online help for 
the Inline fortran documentation.
3. Added transferring the component factors from a spreadsheet to the 
Component Splitter unit module.  Added transferring the crude cuts 
temperatures, API gravities, and molecular weights from a spreadsheet to 
the flowsheet.  Added transferring the component IDs from a spreadsheet 
to the flowsheet.
4. Added Unicode support for flowsheet file names (*.in, *.out).  The 
Unicode support for directory names will be added in a future release.
5. Fixed an uninitialized variable in the dew and bubble point 
calculational code.  This was causing various mixtures to mistakenly 
fail to calculate their dew and bubble points under unique circumstances 
related to calculational order of the streams and unit modules.
6. Fixed the default value for pipe roughness to 1.0E-4 in the Line 
module.  The value had been mistakenly changed to 1.0E-5 in a previous 
release.
7. Fixed the Controller unit module to now properly use a Stream as a 
controlled device in addition to a Equipment module when the Controller 
is inside a recycle loop.
8. Miscellaneous small enhancements and fixes (see release notes 
https://www.winsim.com/media/relnotes.html )

If you are on MSS or a Program Usage Agreement, then please download the 
new version.

Please note that the Password algorithm was changed for the 15.00 
release.  Your new password should have been emailed to the contact 
person for your account.  If you need a new password, please contact 
support at winsim.com with your serial number for your new password if you 
are on MSS or a Usage agreement.

You may testdrive the new release by downloading it (110 MB) from our 
website and installing it.  Run DESIGN II for Windows and a dialog will 
come up with your Computer ID and ask you for a Serial Number and 
Password.  You can get a Serial Number and Password emailed to you from 
   www.winsim.com/gen2wkps.html on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week basis.
