Hello. In the new found interest of every one getting to know everyone better
by way of introduction, let me introduce myself. My name is Kara Bennett, and
I'm very happy to be a part of this project. I have loved games all of my
life, and I wish to become a game designer. I am just starting out as I am just a
freshman in college. Althogh I may be young my interest and dedication to
this is very high. I tend to push myself even harder because I am a female
wanting to emerge out of a male dominated industry. Currently I am training on Maya,
but am also experimenting with other mediums. I would gladly take any advice
from any one in the industry or other wise on how to develop my talents
further and begin to make a name for myself.

Most importly, the reason I joined this project is that I believe that it is
very important to learn form our pasts, in order to advance our future. Also
if we as gamers and people in the industry alike do not save our humble begins
who will? Plus, having that past shows us how we have evolved along the way. I
mean I would hate to think that there was a generation that had no clue what
the original atari is or that a joystick wasn't always analog, had mulitple
buttons, and wireless. In addition, I fear a generation that doen't know the
likes of pakman and galaktaka!

So this is me and my reasons for joining. I hope that my intoduction has
helped the "getting to know you" section of our posts.

                                                               Kara Bennett
