[game_preservation] 1Up's article on game mechanics

There's always an anniversary or something going on, I'm sure we'll have
some ideas, hehe :) (I personally like retrospectives on the development
of old games - interviews, etc.) but good to know there will be more
articles - this one was a fun read even if some of them are a bit odd,
more the fact referring to the "firsts" rather then the "not firsts" is
good.
