Interesting...

Well, I have been doing quite a bit of translation recently and while I
don't quite have the chops to do a 250-page book (actually, I've done a
bunch of comics <http://metroid-database.com/manga/listing.php?vid=3>and
some interviews <http://metroid-database.com/sm/interview.php>), I was
planning on seeing how much of it I could get done, but I wanted to see if I
could find a cheaper way of shipping these. I think it would be cheaper to
send them by boat... I don't know if you know Aki Nakamura at Ritsumeikan,
but I discussed translating this book with him before (prior to its
reprinting). He is in China, so has not had time to respond to me about
this. It's also possible I could buy the books and have them shipped to
someone in Japan who could scan them (shipping inside Japan is free through
Amazon).
