Good news...Sage is opening access to our machinima themed issue of the Journal of Visual Culture now through the 15th of June.

Go here for direct access to the essays.

Go here for the post on the How They Got Games blog (and a link to the Play-Machinima-Law conference which inspired this issue of the journal).

Best,
~Susan

Subject: [game_preservation] JVC special issue on machinima

The special issue of Journal of Visual Culture devoted to machinima is just out. It was co-edited by Susan Rojo, Matteo Bittanti (former SHL), and me. So pretty much a Stanford-organized effort.

P.S. My essay ties machinima in with our own topic of preservation activities, so this is not off-topic!
